Consulting with the client, interviewing the experts, writing the content, collabor-ating with the designer, and pulling it all together for an outstanding final product is work I love and do well. 

PRECISION EDITING 


​The old website was in need of a makeover—both design and content. We pulled content together from its nooks and crannies, carefully edited and rewrote it for SEO and social media crossover, and then dropped it back into an updated design that maximizes readability and user-friendly functions.

RESEARCH AND WRITING


This extensive, in-depth report was based on dozens of interviews with health care leaders at more than 20 health plans, teasing out innovation and examples of leadership to share with a wide audience. Case studies bolster the content with specific, detailed examples. Synthesizing information from multiple sources, and weaving it together in an accessible and interesting narrative, is what professional writers do. 



COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY

This health foundation funded an important study on child-hood obesity and school lunch programs. To keep it from becoming an academic report with a narrow appeal, we visited schools and added stories from lunch ladies and students, with compelling photos and illustrations. The report got a lot of attention from multiple target audiences.
